PREMIER SIRE AWARD

The South Carolina State Fair Premier Sire Award (banner) will be given in each breed with three (3) or more farms showing and at least fifteen (15) entries.

This award will be based on the following point system:

A.
Grand Champion
7 Points
B.
Reserve Champion
6 Points
C.
First in class
5 Points
D.
Second in class
4 Points
E.
Third in class
3 Points
F.
Fourth in class
2 Points
G.
Fifth in class
1 Point

To receive points, animals must be sired by the same boar and shown in the Open Show.

The South Carolina State Fair supplies the banners. Some banners may be ordered and shipped following the Swine Show. Ties will be broken first by the number of Grand Champions, then Reserve Grand Champions, First Place, Second Place, etc.
