South Carolina State Fair General Rules and Regulations
in conjunction with the American Quarter Horse Association (western) and US Equestrian Federation Association Rules (hunter) shall apply. |

ENTRY PROCEDURE - VERY IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ
|
4. |
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS The original Coggins report dated within the last twelve (12) months prior to the show is required and must be presented to the Youth Horse Superintendent upon arrival at the fairgrounds or during check-in. DO NOT MAIL the Coggins report with entry form. All out-of-state animals must have a Health Certificate issued within thirty (30) days of the show by a licensed and accredited veterinarian. All vaccinations should be current. |

EXHIBITOR AGE REQUIREMENTS Exhibitors must be eighteen (18) years of age or under as of January 1 of current year. |
6. |
WALK/TROT AND WALK/JOG ENTRANTS All Walk/Trot or Walk/Jog entrants are not eligible to enter in the remainer of the classes (i.e., those that require a canter or a lope). In other words, if an entry is in a Walk/Trot class, he/she can only enter other Walk/Trot or Walk/Jog classes. |

CONFIRMATION LETTERS, PASSES, WRISTBANDS Online Exhibitors will receive an e-mail confirmation of their online entry registration at the completion of online entry. Please print a copy of your online entry form for your records. Confirmation letters along with pre-purchased trailer parking passes and two (2) wristbands for each rider/handler will be mailed in early October to the Responsible Party for Exhibitors. Contact Brenda Baldwin if letter is not received one week (7 days) prior to show. |

GATE
ADMISSION POLICY (VERY IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ)

Stalls
are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There
is no stall fee. |
10. |
Tack Stall rental available at time of entry registration
for $25.00 per stall. |
11. |
Barns
A, B, and C will be available to horse show exhibitors
after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2010. |
12. |
Exhibitors
not displaying their show number will be asked to leave
the ring. |
13. |
All
animals entered in the show or stalled in barns must
be manageable or will be excused from the ring or asked
to leave the grounds. |
14. |
The
Show Committee and SC State Fair reserve the right to
test any animal at any time for suspected drug abuse,
to be paid by the exhibitor of the animal. |
15. |
No
trailer or vehicle parking at the barns, in front of
stalls or driveways between barns, or in the inside
aisles. |
16. |
Premium
Award checks will be mailed to exhibitors following the show.
Exhibitors are responsible for claiming any awards, such as ribbons or trophies,
won during the show. These awards will not be mailed
to exhibitors. |
