RV Individual Game Parking Application

2010 RESERVED USC FOOTBALL PARKING

GENERAL INFORMATION & FAQs

Requirements:

  • Anyone wanting to renew or purchase a spot for the first time will be required to have a valid e-mail address. There are a number of free e-mail providers (i.e. Hotmail, G-Mail, Yahoo!, etc.) that take minimal time to set up and will enable patrons to receive updates, traffic information, gate opening times, etc. Your e-mail will not be shared with any 3rd party but will be used solely for USC football parking reservations with the SC State Fairgrounds.
  • Anyone wanting to renew or purchase a spot for the first time will need to have either a credit or debit/check card that is either Visa or Master Card.

Timelines:

  • Renewal Period starts 8:00 am on Monday, April 5th and lasts until 11:59pm on Sunday, May 2nd. All renewals must have their personal 16-digit code that will be arriving in the mail to the address we have for you on file. If you do not renew by Sunday, May 2nd your space will be released and made available for purchase.

  • Open Period for everyone wishing to reserve a spot for the first time starts on Monday, May 3rd.

Prices:

  • Lot 1: $180
  • Lot 2: $180
  • Lot 3/formerly “Mall Area”: $180
  • Lot 4/formerly “Mall Area” & “Grandstand”: $180

Benefits of the new online reservation system:

  • Puts the power back into your hands to pick and choose where you want to be.
  • You can view in real time what spaces are available and where.
  • Allows you to manage your own contact information.
  • You will receive important notifications from the State Fair office about Gameday gate times, traffic flow, or any other pertinent news.
  • You will be able to report any problems such as ants, people abusing their parking privileges, property damage, etc.
  • Ability to send comments, suggestions, etc. to the State Fair office.
  • The ability to pay with multiple credit/debit cards for multiple spaces.

NEW this year:

  • We will be offering 1000 first-come first-serve Gameday car spaces in our midway area (except the Oct 9th game versus Alabama due to the annual fair setup).
  • We will now be accommodating Gameday RV parking through Gate 12 off of Rosewood Drive (except the Oct 9th game versus Alabama due to the annual fair setup).
  • We are adding approximately 675 new spaces for season reservations at a remarkably low price.
  • Along with your numbered space, you will receive a Lot designation on your hang tag. This will also help make it easier to recognize the location of your numbered space.

FAQs:

  • How long will I need to keep my 16 digit access code?
    • Just the first time in order to set up your account. After that, your e-mail address and password you have set up will be the only necessary login information needed.
  • After the season starts, can I officially switch spots with someone?
    • Yes. You will simply need to have the other person’s valid e-mail address they have for their login. Once you login to your account, push the button that says “Switch Spots” and enter their valid e-mail address, which will send them a request to confirm the switch. It will then be up to both parties to swap hang tags so that either of them do not get towed due to the wrong tag being in the wrong space (per the “Rules & Regulations” both have agreed to).
  • How many home games will I be able to park in my space?
    • Every Lot EXCEPT Lot 5/Andrews Rd. will be able to park in their space for 6 home games this year. The October 9th home game versus Alabama will not be available due to the setup of the annual run of the Fair. However, all Lot 5/Andrews Rd. permit holders will be able to park in their space for ALL 7 home games this year.
  • Do I have to renew my space if I want to see if I can move to another space but keep the one I have now if I don’t find a better option?
    • In one word, yes. If you do not renew your space(s) then it will be released on Monday, May 3rd and available for anyone to purchase.
  • When will my parking permit be mailed to me?
    • The first of August.
  • What options do I have for parking with my RV on a game-by-game basis?
    • Options for Individual Game RV parking:
      • 2-Night RV parking ($100):  This option requires that you fill out an “Individual Game RV” reservation form that can be printed, filled out, and sent via fax/e-mail/snail mail to the State Fair office. With this option you will be able to come in and park beginning at 2pm the day prior to the game and must be out by 2pm the day after the game. This does not include any hookups and all RVs must be self-contained. (We do have a fresh water and dump station on site that is available for your use)
      • Gameday RV parking ($40 non-SEC games):  This option is first-come first-serve availability and does not allow for overnight stay. The gates will open 5 hours prior to kickoff (or 8am for any games starting at noon), you will enter through Gate 12 off of Rosewood Dr., and pay at the gate. Please note for all non-SEC games that all RVs and cars will be required to exit the premises no later than 2 hours after the game is over.
      • Gameday RV parking ($50 SEC games):  This option is first-come first-serve availability and does allow for overnight stay. The gates will open at 8am, you will enter through Gate 12 off of Rosewood Dr., and pay at the gate. All RVs will be required to exit the premises by 2pm the day after the game.
  • Can I reserve a first-come first-serve car parking space?
    • No. All first-come first-serve parking spaces are exactly that and are paid for when you arrive at the gate.
  • What time will the gates open for first-come first-serve parking?
    • 8am for all SEC games (except the Oct 9 game versus Alabama due to the annual fair setup) and 5 hours prior to kickoff (or 8am for any games starting at noon) for all non-SEC games.
