Please Note:
**Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 is affecting lactating dairy cattle in the United States. USDA Veterinary Services has issued a federal order changing the importation requirements of lactating dairy cattle.
**The SC State Veterinarian’s office is working with the South Carolina State Fair on updating guidelines to reflect these changes for entry of lactating dairy cows onto the fairgrounds.

Open Entry Registration: July 1 – Sept. 1, 2024
Check-In: Wednesday, Oct. 9: 8am – Thursday, Oct. 10: 4pm
Books Close: Thursday, Oct. 10: 4pm
Release: Sunday, Oct. 13: Conclusion of Jr. Dairy Supreme Champion
