It is our mission to keep guests and staff safe while also continuing to make your visit a memorable experience.

 

COVID-19 WARNING

COVID-19 exposure is an inherent risk in any public locations where people are present. Guests should only attend after evaluating their own health risks. Entry on to the fairgrounds constitutes the understanding of these risks and willingness to undertake the risk of exposure. No refunds will be given following entry on to the fairgrounds. We encourage each guest to take responsibility for their own health and safety – in addition to acting with care for the health and safety of those around them.

Hand Sanitizer Stations

There will be hand sanitation & handwashing stations throughout the fairgrounds. We highly recommend the use of hand sanitization stations as well as washing your hands frequently.

Check-in Process

Guests are encouraged to limit personal items to speed up the check-in process. We strongly advise guests to purchase advanced tickets online or at participating Circle K stores.

To limit contact, cashless payment options are available and encouraged.

Face Coverings

We’re over the moon to see more smiles.  Masks are optional unless the CDC tells us otherwise. We will follow the latest mask guidelines from the CDC.

Increased Cleaning Protocol

Facility cleaning protocols, including bathroom maintenance and frequent public touchpoints, has been increased to ensure cleanliness and the health and safety of all guests.

There will be signage throughout the fairgrounds reminding everyone of the importance of COVID-19 safety protocols.

Social Distancing

Guests will be encouraged to follow the latest CDC social distancing guidelines carefully. This will apply throughout the fairgrounds.

The South Carolina State Fair follows CDC guidelines and strategies to prevent and reduce transmission and maintain healthy business operations and work environments.

Not Feeling Well?

Guests are asked to self-check for COVID-19 symptoms before visiting the S.C. State Fairgrounds. If guests or any member of their household is not feeling well, please do not visit.
