CARRIE MCQUEEN, Oct. 14 – 20

With years of experience at stilt walking, comedy and juggling, Carrie McQueen always delivers the fun and excitement to big events. She’s entertained audiences around the world with her larger-than-life characters, interactive fun, and her unique ability to leave both adults and children spellbound. Catch her strolling the grounds of the South Carolina State Fair with her giant, family-friendly, stilt walking characters.
MARC DOBSON, Oct. 15 – 20
– the one-man band
The One-Man Band, featuring Marc Dobson, returns – putting on an inspiring performance playing self-created instruments. Dobson, a lifelong musician and entertainer, plays 9.1 instruments at once. His repertoire aims at songs every age should recognize covering the 1960s through today with a mix of rock, country, pop and more. With improv comedic antics, no two shows are alike, which may explain why Dobson has been performing yearly at many fairs since the inception of his One-Man Band.

THE ICECREAM COMEDY SHOW
I scream, you scream, we all scream for The Ice Cream Show! Get ready for a deliciously fun experience with Greg Frisbee and his comedy ice cream cycle. This interactive show is packed with laughs, games, and a whole lot of ice cream-themed entertainment. Don’t miss your chance to indulge in this sweet treat for the whole family! Caution: This show may cause uncontrollable ice cream cravings. Real ice cream is not included.
DENNY THE CLOWN, Oct 13 – 20
Denny the Clown is back for his 42nd year at the S.C. State Fair. Catch his strolling mime and comedy routine daily throughout the fairgrounds. Dennis will give you three gallons of crazy in a two-gallon bucket!
STILT FUN WITH MICHAEL WEAKLEY, Oct. 9 – 13
With over 25 years of performing experience, including time with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Mike specializes in interactive stilt walking entertainment that’s perfect for fairs, festivals, and special events. His performances are a dynamic mix of juggling, giant soap bubbles, high-energy dancing, and the highest high-fives around. Mike knows how to create a fun and festive atmosphere, ensuring that every moment is filled with excitement and joy. Don’t miss his incredible stilt-walking show at the fair!
